About the Role
What You'll Actually Be Doing
You'll be sourcing and placing candidates for J Mac's internal team and for our SME business clients across India. This is not a job-board role where you just post listings — you'll actively hunt for talent, make screening calls, run shortlists, and close offers. Perfect for energetic freshers who want to learn recruitment the real way, from Day 1.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do
- Source candidates via LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, and direct outreach on social media
- Conduct initial screening calls to assess communication, fit, and intent
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines for multiple open mandates simultaneously
- Coordinate interviews between shortlisted candidates and hiring managers
- Update CRM records, track hiring progress, and report weekly metrics
- Assist with offer negotiations and ensure smooth candidate onboarding handoffs
Ideal Profile
What We're Looking For
- Strong spoken and written communication in Hindi and/or English
- Doer mindset — you take action first and figure things out as you go
- Coachable and fast learner — open to feedback and new methods
- Resilient — rejection is part of recruitment, and you bounce back fast
- Comfortable making 20–40+ calls daily and speaking confidently with new people
- 0–4 years of experience; freshers and early-career candidates strongly encouraged
